Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces in Phoenix seeks a positive, professional Bilingual (English/Spanish) Orthodontic Assistant to educate patients on treatment options and procedures while using state-of-the-art technology to deliver excellent care and experience.

You will work hands-on with doctors, participate in cross-training across dental specialties, and help maintain a fun, fast-paced practice that values growth, teamwork, and patient-first care.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented and organized with good patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in all dental procedures and orthodontic treatments.
• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments and equipment.
• Check patient dental appliances prior to adjustments and remove if necessary.
• Assist with bonding, banding, debonding, and coronal polishing.
• Assist in adjustments including wire changes and separators.
• Complete X-rays and intra-oral photos efficiently.
• Educate patients on oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
• Present treatment options to patients based on doctor recommendations.
• Record charting and notes in the digital patient chart.
• Maintain inventory and supplies; follow OSHA/HIPAA and policies.
