Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
• Retail/optical experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn optical terminology and procedures.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere in the front and pretest areas.
• Explain preliminary examinations to patients.
• Complete paperwork and perform testing before doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with attention to details.
• Consult with the optician, doctor, or management as needed.
• Ensure pretest and doctor equipment are properly maintained.
