Job summary

Eyeglass World is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate/Optical Specialist who is bilingual in Spanish to join our in-store team. You will guide customers through eyewear selection, perform fitting, and ensure a polished, brand-aligned handoff at pickup.

You will assist with patient flow, support optometrists, and deliver warm, personalized service while maintaining Eyeglass World standards of quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required)
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required)
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required)
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required)
• Support store team in shared goals (Required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments
• Serve as a calm, knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks
• Ensure all eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards for fit, function, and presentation
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff
• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store
• Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience
