Job summary

The Foth Companies in Des Moines, IA, is seeking an experienced on-site Construction Manager to lead industrial projects across client facilities. This role requires full-time on-site work with 100% travel to client locations.

You will coordinate safety, manage schedules, resolve technical issues with engineering teams, and ensure scope, budget, and schedule meet project goals. Eligible candidates will have 10+ years of industrial CM experience, an associate degree or technical equivalent, OSHA

Qualifications

• Proven construction site coordination and safety communications.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of industrial construction management experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Travel 100% and work on-site at client facilities.
• Promote, support, and monitor safety policies.
• Resolve conflicts and build client relationships.
• Serve as a primary technical contact with client and design teams.
• Oversee construction management for design-build/turnkey projects.
• Coordinate schedules with engineering, trades, vendors, and client.
• Lead trades to meet safety, budget, and schedule goals.
• Resolve day-to-day issues on site.
• Coordinate technical/design issue resolution with engineering teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes with the project manager.
• Contribute to constructability reviews.
• Provide daily activity updates to PM and stakeholders.
