Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Bilingual OB/GYN Medical Assistant in Houston, schedule Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. You will assist with examinations, phlebotomy, and education, contributing to a collaborative primary care team focused on compassionate, whole-person care.

The role emphasizes culturally sensitive care, accurate documentation, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary medical home to improve patient access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS/CPR Certification required.
• Up to one year experience.
• Desirable: up to three years’ experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and vital signs.
• Record medical history and test results in EMR.
• Collect blood and specimens; prepare for testing.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Provide injections and remove sutures as directed.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and equipment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and patient-centered care.
