Job summary

The YMCA of Greater New York is hiring a New Americans Initiative (NAI) Coordinator to support strategy, implementation, fidelity, and quality of NAI programs across branches. You will provide trauma-informed case management, intake and referrals, coordinate community outreach, and ensure data integrity for program outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), at least two years of related experience, and bilingual Spanish/English or Mandarin/English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in education, social work, or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ related experience.
• Bilingual—Spanish/English or Mandarin/English.
• Knowledge of adult literacy, civic education, immigration services, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management and referrals per program standards.
• Support recruitment, registration, orientation, and community outreach for participants.
• Maintain files and data entry in government and internal databases.
• Assist with reporting to funders and tracking participant outcomes.
• Supervise staff, volunteers, and interns and model positive culture.
