Job summary

The YMCA of Greater New York is seeking a New Americans Initiative Coordinator at the Flushing YMCA to support strategy, implementation, fidelity, and quality of programs. You will collaborate with the NAI Director, recruit and orient participants, provide case management, and maintain data records, while ensuring hospitality and inclusion across diverse communities.

Evenings twice per week are required; bilingual skills in Spanish/English or Mandarin/English are essential for this full-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Mental Health, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English or Mandarin/English.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management and referrals per program standards.
• Assist with recruitment, orientation, and community outreach for the initiative.
• Maintain participant files and support data entry into program databases.
• Ensure compliance with YMCA and funder standards and participant satisfaction.
