Job summary

Edinburg CISD is seeking a Secondary Migrant Recruiter Clerk at Edinburg North High School to manage TX-NGS data, support ID&R efforts, and ensure compliance with TEA and ESSA requirements. The role involves coordinating with campus staff and migrant families to support student needs and graduation goals.

You will train on TX-NGS, MSIX, and ID&R, maintain accurate records, and assist in recruitment initiatives for eligible migratory children across the district.

Qualifications

• TEA certification requirements High School Graduate or GED.
• Understand TX-NGS (Texas-New Generation System).
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
• Driver's License and vehicle required.
• Ability to use personal computer and software.

Responsibilities

• Complete TX-NGS, MSIX and ID&R Training and certification for current year.
• Maintain TX-NGS Audit Binder and document data for TEA Compliance.
• Enter TX-NGS data and STAAR/EOC information in the system.
• Update immunization/health information in TX-NGS.
• Assist in recruitment and identification of migrants per program guidelines.
• Meet with school personnel and parents to address migrant student needs.
• Organize and communicate migrant program information to stakeholders.
• Submit periodic reports to supervisor and PEIMS verifications.
