What You Bring To SBHG (Qualifications)

• Master's degree in Mental Health, Human Services, or related field.
• Two (2) years experience in mental health, working with severely emotionally disturbed families/children, high-risk families, children or adolescents with dual diagnosis in residential or outpatient settings.
• MHS II: Registered with CA BBS as an MFT Intern or ASW.
• MHS III: Licensed in CA as LMFT or LCSW.
• Valid CA Driver's License.
• Spanish Speaking Required.

How You Will Make a Difference

This role involves providing mental health services and case management to adolescents and families, including assessments, therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. The therapist acts as a liaison with external agencies, participates in Child & Family Team meetings, and may need additional training.

Division/Program Overview

• Community-Based, Family Centered programs.
• Offers Wraparound, IFCCS, Outreach Triage services countywide.
• 24-hour referral and crisis services.
• Client and family-driven, with contractual partnerships with DMH, Child Protected Services, and Probation.
