Job Summary

The Staff Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services to children, adolescents, and/or adults, as assigned, to help Josselyn achieve its vision of Mental Health For All. The clinician is accountable for clinical, administrative, and Quality and Compliance responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

• Provide high-quality therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and client-centered consultation to clients and their families.
• Maintain direct service hours per month of 60% for advanced clinicians and 56% for others.
• Keep detailed, confidential records of client sessions, progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Create IMCANS (IATP) Assessment (Complete IATP within 30 days of initial meeting, modify and review as needed, update in CIS, and ensure updates before six months).
• Enter all Progress Notes into the medical record within three business days of service.
• Keep EMR calendar and primary sources up to date.
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff, internal and external providers.
• Attend and participate in clinical presentations and required meetings.
• Respond to outreach and coordination regarding client fees/payments.
• Participate in Accreditation, Certification processes, Committee Work, Strategic Planning, and Community Services as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a related clinical field (e.g., M.A. in Counseling, MSW, MSMFT, Psy.D, Ph.D in Psychology) or a degree qualifying for a QMHP in Illinois.
• Three professional references demonstrating clinical ability.
