Job summary

Rendr is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians by handling clerical tasks, documenting patient encounters in the EMR, and coordinating diagnostic tests. The role emphasizes exceptional patient service and teamwork in a multi-office NYC setting.

Qualified candidates will be bilingual in English and Chinese, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and typing speed of at least 45 wpm. Prior medical office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese required.
• Computer typing speed minimum 45 wpm.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities

• Relieve physicians of clerical duties and document dictated notes in EMR.
• Obtain and locate patient medical history for visits.
• Facilitate diagnostic tests while maintaining patient service.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and physicians under physician guidance.
• Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional office environment.
• Assist with training new scribes.
