Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved Medical Assistant program as required by the State of California.
• CPR certified.
• Bilingual skills in English-Spanish required.
• Possession of a valid CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals (OBGYN/Family Practice) and facilitates patient care follow-up.
• Direct contact between GFHN clinicians and referring clinicians as it relates to referrals.
• Case manage referrals that require additional attention with clinician guidance.
• Collaborate with clinic management, nursing, clinician staff, and clerical staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
