Job summary

Rendr is seeking a Medical Receptionist in New York, NY to deliver a warm, professional first impression for patients and visitors. You will manage front-desk tasks, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect copays, and handle inquiries with care.

Ideal candidates communicate in English and Chinese, excel in coordination, and maintain accurate patient records in our EMR system. Eligible benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and PTO support.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Chinese required across patient communication.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors entering the practice.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments and coordinate reminders.
• Process insurance information to determine eligibility and collect copays.
• Check-in patients and assist with paperwork as needed.
• Answer inquiries about benefits and escalate to Billing when needed.
• Prepare and verify lab or imaging reports and update records.
• Conduct follow-up reminders and respond to emergencies as required.
• Handle sensitive patient data with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Support office manager with other related duties.
