Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and target language.
• Evidence of passing medical interpreter training program.
• 1–2 years of relevant interpreting experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides language interpretation and translation services between the target language and English.
• Assists staff in delivering linguistically and culturally appropriate clinical services to patients and families.
• Demonstrates ability to care for patients of all ages including physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs.
• Performs other duties as required.
