Job summary

The Chicago Lighthouse seeks a Medical Contact Center Agent to handle inbound and outbound calls, voicemails, and emails for insurance plan members in a high-performance center. You will schedule appointments and enter patient data using Health System software.

Requirements: bilingual English/Spanish, a High School diploma, and call center experience. On-site with potential remote work after three months; full-time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer Contact Center experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Ability to handle a call center environment with accuracy and multitasking.
• Must be able to navigate multiple databases in Health System software.
• Typing minimum 30 words per minute with 95%+ accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Team player with ability to complete training and stay mission-focused.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls, voicemails, and emails promptly and professionally.
• Enter accurate demographic information into Health System applications.
• Schedule and register patients for appointments using Health System software.
• Communicate appointment details (date, time, location, provider) clearly to patients.
• Provide patient-focused service and information, supporting HIPAA compliance.
