Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead the MA team and manage daily operations across multiple sites. The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, and adherence to clinical standards to ensure high-quality patient care.

The supervisor will mentor staff, coordinate coverage during absences, and drive process improvements while upholding GLFHC policies and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of medical assistant experience.
• One to three years of leadership experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Medical Assistant certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Medical Interpreter certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the medical assistant team.
• Oversees development, utilization and evaluation processes for patient care quality.
• Resolves patient, clinician, and staff issues and concerns, escalating when needed.
• Schedules staff and provides hands-on supervision to the team.
• Recruits, trains, and develops staff; handles personnel actions and performance reviews.
• Coaches and motivates staff to meet patient and clinical care goals.
