Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Medical Assistant or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Active and unrestricted CMA in California (CA CMA license/credential).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurses and medical staff with administrative and clinical duties under physician supervision.
• Schedule appointments and maintain medical records.
• Prepare treatment rooms, record patient history, and document vitals and tests in the chart.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure proper hygiene and sterilization of equipment.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and communicate information clearly and respectfully.
