The role combines clinical tasks like taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and administering medications, with essential administrative duties such as patient intake, scheduling, and chart handling.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working in a medical office setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
• Spanish Speaking.

Aufgaben

• Assist with patient intake.
• Take patient vitals and record medical history.
• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits.
• Assist with medical procedures as directed by the provider.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by the provider.
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for transport.
• Answer patient phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with patient referrals.
