Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics in Texas seeks a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join its team. The role combines administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a Physician to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

The position requires fluent English and Spanish, 1 year of clinical experience, and preferred Medical Assistant certification and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• 1 year of clinical experience.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and documents chief complaint, vitals, and visit reason.
• Documents patient vitals and updates medical records.
• Communicates status updates and changes in treatment plan.
• Maintains patient charts and ensures completeness of forms.
• Handles clerical tasks: photocopying, scanning, faxing.
• Prepares and stocks exam rooms and cleans between patients.
• Maintains emails, calls, and inquiries; takes messages.
