Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves clinical support under a physician or provider, with a focus on accurate patient information, vitals, and documentation to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual English/Spanish, have at least 1 year of clinical experience, and preferably hold a Medical Assistant certification and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Spanish required.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and documents chief complaint, vitals, medications, allergies, smoking history and visit reason.
• Documents patient vitals and maintains medical records.
• Communicates status updates and changes to treatment plan.
• Maintains patient charts and ensures form completeness and accuracy.
• Prepares exam rooms and stocks medical supplies; cleans between patients.
• Provides administrative support (photocopying, scanning, faxing).
• Manages emails, calls, and scheduling; handles messages for patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
