Job summary

Harbor Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for the Daniel Driscoll-Neponset Health Center. This full-time position involves assisting patients before visits, documenting vital signs, and handling various administrative responsibilities.

The successful candidate should have a high school diploma, preferably a medical assistant certification, and basic computer skills. Evening and weekend rotations are required, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED required; Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish, English/Vietnamese, or English/Portuguese preferred.
• Basic computer skills with Office 365 required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for provider visits and document vital signs.
• Obtain medical history and document in EMR.
• Assist providers with non-nursing procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of EMR (EPIC)

Education
