Job summary
Harbor Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Daniel Driscoll Neponset Health Center in Dorchester, MA. This part-time role supports providers by preparing patients, recording vitals, performing basic lab tests, and helping with EMR documentation.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred or acceptable substitution
- Current CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers required
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and EMR knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for visits; record vital signs and basic measurements
- Collect medical history and update EMR
- Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and daily quality control
- Assist with portal enrollment and patient messaging
- Support providers during examinations and simple procedures
- Stock exam rooms and maintain infection control in clinics
