Humanitary Medical Center, INC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Winter Haven clinic. This full-time role supports providers, manages patient flow, and upholds strict confidentiality in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and BLS certification, with CMA/RMA preferred. Spanish bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse local community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in healthcare setting preferred.
• Completed accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred; BLS cert required.
• Proficient with EHR systems; MD Vita preferred.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish to serve local community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures by handling instruments.
• Manage patient records maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals with staff.
• Perform basic lab tests and administer medications as directed.
