Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and the clinical care team. You will perform administrative and clinical tasks, maintain patient engagement, and help ensure efficient workflow.

The role requires MA training or CMA/RMA certification, CPR, and TB screening per policy; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Monday–Friday schedule with 40 hours/week and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification
• TB screening per policy for this role

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type
• Manage the provider's schedule to ensure efficient workflow
• Obtain and record medical history and vital signs
• Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
• Perform specimen collection and point of care testing
• Prepare and administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
• Ensure accurate documentation in EHR/EMR including HEDIS/Stars measures
• Maintain established quality control standards
