Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Graduate of approved medical assistant program with certification.
• Externship completed or equivalent MA experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms at the beginning and/or end of each day.
• Prepare patient for examination including in-person, electronic or phone contact.
• Perform patient care procedures and evaluations for which certified/approved.
• Document all medical information in EMR and CAIR registry accurately.
• Contact patients to remind and confirm appointments.
• Scan documents into EMR and enroll patients in insurance programs.
