Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive procedures and take vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Perform patient intake duties, including triage and documenting medical information.
• Review and maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Support front-office tasks like pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Maintain organized workload and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
