Job summary

Comprehensive Community Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform administrative and clinical duties under a provider’s direction.

You will prepare and maintain treatment rooms, take vital signs, assist with procedures, and manage EMR, scheduling and patient instructions. Strong organization and communication skills are essential, with bilingual ability in English and Spanish or Armenian preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certificate.
• 2 years experience preferred.
• CPR Certification.
• Certification through AAMA preferred.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish or Armenian.

Responsibilities

• Administer medical questionnaires to staff, patients and visitors.
• Take vital signs and conduct basic screenings.
• Document findings and communicate with leads.
• Assist providers in examinations and procedures.
• Manage EMR notes, lab results and prescriptions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and clinic inventory.
