Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support direct patient services and collaborate with Clinical staff. The MA will perform administrative and clinical duties with a focus on quality of care and patient experience.

This full-time position is 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday hours. Bilingual English/Spanish and EPIC experience are valued, and the role includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, plus a Clinical Medical Assistant certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day administrative and general office duties.
• Provides information to Clinic callers and ensures phone coverage with central reception.
• Welcomes patients and directs them to appropriate departments.
• Schedules patient flow and manages new patient registrations or updates.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
