The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

The role involves greeting patients, assisting with visits, preparing exam rooms, and coordinating tests and referrals, while adhering to state regulations and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred or as required by State.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients, obtain medical history and current medications, and document in medical record.
• Assist with patient flow to ensure timely visits.
• Support high-quality patient experience through excellent service and clear communication with patients and care teams.
• Assist physicians/AP providers in exams and procedures under supervision.
• Perform procedures like specimen collection, injections, and venipuncture per state rules.
• Explain instructions to patients and ensure understanding.
• Schedule tests, treatments, and follow-up appointments; relay results to patients.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize equipment as required.
• Triage calls and referrals, manage messages, and file records.
