Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant at Good Samaritan Free Health Center in Cincinnati to aid physicians in exams and treatments. You will interview patients, record vital signs, prepare rooms, and maintain charts in a patient-centered team setting.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited MA program, certifications (RMA/CMA) or equivalent, CPR current, and preferred bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional or vocational program.
• RMA or CMA certification; CPR current; RN/LPN licensure acceptable.
• EKG, injections, venipuncture performed per CLIA guidelines.
• Up to 1 year experience in a medical/physician office setting.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; clear bilingual communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in examination and treatment of patients.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs; document charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain medical records.
• Cross-trained to enhance efficiency and continuity of care.
• Support patient care and safety/environmental duties.
