Job summary

InterCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center seeking a Part-Time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant to join our clinical support team. You will assist providers, perform clinical tasks, and help manage patient flow in a patient-centered medical home ambulatory setting.

The role offers flexible hours with up to 20 hours per week. The position requires a MA certificate or associate degree, BLS certification within two months, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate MA program or associate degree in medical assisting.
• BLS certification within two months of employment (required).
• Proficient in customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of clinical tasks to support the provider team.
• Works with providers and other clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient assessment and care.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists with procedures.
• Administers immunizations and medications as per policy.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
