Center for Bone & Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches is seeking a Medical Assistant with bilingual Spanish proficiency to support patient flow and care coordination. The role includes rooming patients, documenting vitals, reviewing intake forms, and managing EMR entries to ensure accurate records.

You will assist providers, prepare prescriptions and forms, respond to messages within 24 hours, and promote a positive patient experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a clean, organized

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish required for patient interactions and care coordination.
• Experience entering patient data into EMR systems accurately.
• Strong communication with patients and providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy best practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communication between the patient and the provider during patient care.
• Room patients, document vitals, review intake paperwork, pull radiology images.
• Assist with tasks related to PROs and Quality Payment Programs.
• Maintain exam room standards and clean up at day end, restock supplies.
• Handle EMR data entry, voicemail responses, and scheduling workflows.
• Prepare patient electronic charts and verify testing results in EMR.
• Ensure patient education is provided as directed by the provider.
