Momentum Spine and Joint is seeking a full-time bilingual Medical Assistant to support physicians and the clinical team, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation. The role combines administrative duties with basic clinical tasks, including rooming patients, recording vitals, updating files, and coordinating care.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of clinical experience.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Ability to maintain patient records accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Rooms patients and records chief complaint, vital signs and visit reason.
• Documents vitals and keeps medical records up to date.
• Communicates status updates and changes to patients and care plans.
• Maintains and updates patient charts and forms.
• Prepares exam rooms with supplies and cleans between patients.
• Provides administrative support and routine clerical tasks.
• Answers calls and handles messages for patient, physician, and pharmacy.
• Supports team and handles downtime efficiently.
