Job summary

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, MA is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant, Lead to provide day-to-day leadership for the MA team, interview patients, record medical histories, confirm visit purposes and assist clinicians.

You will prepare patients for visits by taking blood pressure, weight and temperature, train new staff on policies, perform routine clinical tasks, and translate for clinicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual, English and Spanish required.
• Certified in CPR.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day tasks of the medical assistant team.
• Interview patients, record medical history and confirm visit purpose.
• Assist clinicians with patient care and procedures.
• Prepare patients for visits by taking blood pressure, weight and temperature and report information to medical records.
• Translate for clinicians.
• Ensure PPE is worn and adherence to safety protocols.
