Job summary

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant Lead (English/Spanish) to supervise the MA team across the Merrimack Valley. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, recording medical history, and preparing them for clinician visits with careful charting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• CPR certification required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and record medical history.
• Confirm visit purpose and assist the clinician.
• Prepare patients for visit: vitals, PPE, and room setup.
• Lead day-to-day MA team tasks and onboarding.
• Perform ear irrigations and throat cultures.
• Conduct INR testing and ensure results are in records.
• Translate for clinicians as needed.
