Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS card; ability to obtain RQI Responder certification within 60 days.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs and chief complaints.
• Administer immunizations and medications; collect, prepare, and transport specimens.
• Assist provider during exams; prepare referrals and maintain medical records.
• Answer calls and document encounters; ensure exam rooms and supplies are organized.
