Job summary

Valora Medical Group in Garland, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support in a busy primary care setting. You will document medical histories, triage patients, and assist doctors during examinations while maintaining accurate EMR records.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, EMR proficiency, and at least 2 years of experience. Willingness to travel between clinic locations and cover at other sites as needed is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for this clinic location.
• 2+ years of experience as a medical assistant.
• Proficiency in using an EMR; eCW experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients and document basic medical history in the EMR.
• Triage patients and update medical records.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other facilities.
• Assist during medical examinations and prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform blood draws and prepare lab specimens.
