Care New England is seeking a Union Medical Assistant (Bilingual) to support clinical and office functions within OGCC. You will engage in direct patient contact, maintain office systems, and assist in various clinical procedures, while providing clerical support to staff.

Required are a high school diploma, Medical Assistant certification, CPR, 3–5 years in a medical/administrative setting, strong typing, medical terminology knowledge, and bilingual ability (Spanish preferred).)

Qualifications

• High school graduate with Medical Assistant certification.
• CPR certification and 3–5 years' experience in administrative/medical setting.
• Strong typing, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills, and English proficiency; bilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competency in clinical care and assessment for all patient populations.
• Assists with direct patient care, showing maturity and discretion.
• Provides clinical support to patients and staff.
• Provides office support, including typing, scheduling, and processing forms.
• Monitors clinical equipment and supplies.
• Protects patient confidentiality.
• Interprets for non-English speaking patients as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
