The position is full-time onsite at 506 W. Valley Blvd., Unit #100, San Gabriel, CA 91776, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation is $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Active CMA in California preferred.
• Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese or Spanish preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurses, and other medical staff with administrative and clinical duties under a provider's direction.
• Schedule appointments and maintain medical records.
• Prepare treatment room for patient exams, record patient history, and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document in chart.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history.
• Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient files.
• Perform EKG and cardiac monitor hookup.
• Other duties as assigned.
