Job summary

Natural Vision in Fresno, CA seeks an experienced bilingual Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team. Primary duties include patient history, diagnostic testing, and assisting with contact lens fittings, surgical procedures, and clinic workflow.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant education required.
• Knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology.
• 3+ years of medical assistant experience, preferably in Ophthalmology/Optometry.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• 3 office locations with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient medical history and document accurately.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and assist with examinations.
• Educate patients and explain treatment options.
• Assist with contact lens fittings and minor in-office procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, staff and administration.
