Medical Assistant/Ophthalmology

compensation: Based on Experience employment type: full-time

We are searching for a Clinical MA who will work closely with patients and physician in administering optical services. Your job will be focused on assisting the physician with patients. However, this can cover a wide range of job responsibilities:

Scheduling medical procedures Taking patient medical histories Updating patient medical files Placing Dilation drops in patients eyes Performing refractive duty Taking blood pressure and body temperatures Instructing patients on proper usage of medications Phoning in prescriptions to various pharmacies Sterilizing medical instruments Preparing patients for examination Assisting the physician during exams Instructing patients about medication

We are looking for someone with Great people skills. Able to multi task with patients and be able to empathize and maintain a friendly demeanor is very important. Bi-lingual is a must. Salary based on experience. Will report directly to Practice Manager
