Job summary

Clayton Manufacturing is seeking a Training Specialist to implement and facilitate learning programs that build job skills, support onboarding, and drive operational excellence. You will work with production leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver effective training, improve capability, and promote continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, collaborative leadership, and the development of scalable training

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required.
• High School Diploma or GED; degree in Training & Development preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years in training, workforce development, manufacturing ops, or related field.
• Knowledge of training program development, facilitation, learning assessment, and employee development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing ops, process improvement, quality standards, and CI methodologies.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems or related tech.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate training programs for new hires and ongoing development.
• Customize and maintain training materials, job aids, and skill development tools.
• Partner with trainers, coaches, and leadership to ensure consistency and evaluate development.
• Collaborate with production, CI, Quality, and EHS to align training with objectives, safety, and process improvement.
• Support onboarding activities by facilitating training and helping staff transition into roles.
• Maintain training records, monitor progression, analyze data, and provide insights to leadership.
• Assess training effectiveness and propose enhancements to content and delivery.
