Jasper Engines in Jasper, IN is hiring for a JIS – Warehouse role. Associates will train in three areas, pick parts, prepare shipments, and manage paperwork with strong attention to detail and hand dexterity.

Shift: Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm. Starting rate $20.00 per hour with potential wage increases after performance reviews. Benefits include PTO after 30 days, 10 holidays after 30 days, 401(k) with company match, ESOP, and onsite fitness/medical facilities.

JIS – Warehouse

Job Overview: Associates will train in 3 different fast-paced areas that make up this dept.

This individual must be detail oriented along with having strong hand dexterity. Associates utilize various tools such as: Zebra Scanners, Shipping Station Computers and Powered Industrial Trucks such as: Order Pickers. Associates will pick parts in a warehousing environment, prepare large shipments for customers, and create all necessary paperwork to ship products. All positions will need problem solving skills and detail for inventory management.

JIS Picker: Requires computer skills of scanning barcodes, reading orders, pulling smaller and larger parts from warehouse locations, and staging orders as necessary.

JIS Packer: Requires computer skills of scanning barcodes, reading orders, packing smaller and larger parts, and preparing shipments to meet/exceed customers’ expectations.

JIS Expedite: Requires computer skills of scanning barcodes, reading orders, pulling smaller and larger parts from warehouse locations, as well as packing orders. Requires working on your own and decision-making skills. Time management skills necessary to ensure all orders meet customer timelines.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.


• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)


• The ability to use handheld tools such as Hand Scanners


• Sitting: only at break/lunch time


• Stooping (forward leaning): Continuously

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
