Job summary

Novel Prep in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Program Manager to oversee the Abridge Program’s daily operations, academic advising, residential life, and student support services. You will supervise School Advisors and Dorm Managers, coordinate communications among students, parents, school staff, and external partners, and drive staff performance and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years in education, student services, or program management.
• Experience supervising staff and leading teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with U.S. education system and college admissions preferred.
• Experience working with international students preferred.
• English proficiency required; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and evaluate school advisors and dorm managers.
• Assign cases, set performance expectations, and run team meetings.
• Provide staff training, coaching, and ongoing support.
• Oversee academic progress, guidance, and college planning.
• Coordinate with teachers, counselors, and partners for college goals.
• Supervise residential operations and ensure safety and policies.
• Manage student conduct, attendance, and residential concerns.
• Coordinate parent communication and external partnerships.
• Develop SOPs, tracking systems, and reporting; monitor outcomes.
