Job summary

HumanGood in Glassboro, NJ is seeking a Maintenance 1-Helper to perform light maintenance and custodial duties across residents, offices and common areas. The role is full-time with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers a pay range of $22.00–$24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications include up to 1 year in a related field, bilingual English/Spanish, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attendance at a technical training institute or program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, resident spaces, restrooms, carpets, and floors.
• Empty trash, collect recycling, and keep the community grounds clean and free of debris.
• Complete maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, HVAC filters, batteries, faucets, switches, and other building components.
