Job summary

Kanner & Pintaluga is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Florida to support attorneys on ongoing cases and prepare for trial. The role involves fact-finding, case file maintenance, and coordinating with clients and courts.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of litigation experience, strong organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Normal hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to assist in depositions and hearings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Experience e-filing in state and federal courts preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with clients and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties.
• Maintain attorney’s calendar.
• Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, meditations, hearings.
• Document management using Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe.
• E-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal court documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence to parties via email or mail.
• Communicate with clients.
