Job summary

Block LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of the litigation process, from case development through trial preparation. The role emphasizes organization, proactive case management, and professional client communication.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience, strong knowledge of California civil procedures, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures, rules, and deadlines.
• Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury, property damage, or landlord-tenant litigation matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys through all stages of litigation from case development to trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• File legal documents with courts and manage filing deadlines.
• Manage case files and coordinate discovery, client communications, and document review.
• Prepare trial binders and gather evidence for hearings and trials.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
