Job summary

Kanner & Pintaluga, a prominent law firm with offices nationwide, seeks a Litigation Paralegal in Denver to support trial teams and manage case files.

You will work closely with attorneys on ongoing cases, conduct fact-finding, and prepare for trial. The role requires 2+ years of litigation experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; e-filing in state and federal court is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Experience e-filing in state and federal courts preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with clients and co-workers.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties.
• Maintain attorney’s calendar.
• Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, mediations, hearings.
• Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe.
• E-file legal documents in Colorado’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
• Communicate with clients.
• Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
