Kanner & Pintaluga in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to work directly with our attorneys, assist with ongoing cases, and prepare for trial when needed. The role emphasizes fact-finding, maintaining case files, and coordinating discovery and deposition schedules.

Strong organization, multitasking, and excellent communication with clients and colleagues are essential in our fast-paced, team-oriented firm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization skills and multitask capability.
• Teamwork oriented.

Responsabilités

• Perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties.
• Maintain attorney’s calendar.
• Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, meditations, hearings.
• Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe.
• E-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
• Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail.
• Communicate with clients.
• Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
