Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced professional to design and deliver district-wide professional development in early literacy using Amplify Caminos, mCLASS Lectura, and CKLA. The role requires leading trainings for groups up to 150 teachers and school leaders, both in person and remotely, with a focus on Spanish-language delivery.

This full-time position is based in New York City, requires 5 days of on-site work per week with planning on the fifth day, and favors candidates with a Master’s in

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing, and able to deliver trainings in Spanish
• Demonstrated experience teaching foundational literacy skills in K-5 using high-quality materials
• 7+ years of K-5 classroom literacy teaching experience with demonstrable student results
• Experience in dual language or bilingual settings working in English and Spanish
• Experience analyzing data to inform instructional practice
• Proven time-management across multiple engagements and priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft and Google productivity tools

Responsibilities

• Design and lead professional development for district teachers, administrators, and leaders using Amplify Spanish Literacy products
• Support educator learning related to instruction, assessment, data use, and early literacy skills
• Deliver remote or in-person trainings for national customers
• Collaborate with district/school leadership to determine strategy and coaching approach
• Observe teacher practice and provide targeted feedback
• Communicate proactively with school and district contacts
• Create or customize PD materials, including Google slides, videos, and online courses
• Build knowledge of Amplify CKLA, mCLASS, and Boost/Boost Lectura
